1600 Penn is an American single camera television comedy series about a dysfunctional family living in the White House. The series stars Jenna Elfman, Bill Pullman and Josh Gad. Gad, along with Jason Winer and Jon Lovett jointly created the central characters and the situation-comedy core format. NBC placed a series order in May 2012. The series originally aired as a mid-season replacement from December 17, 2012 to March 27, 2013. It was announced on May 9, 2013, that NBC had canceled the series.
