"Two sections of the same plane crash on the opposite side of an island. Be prepared for a special re". Peter Coyote narrates the story of the survivors of Oceanic flight 815. The leader of the tail-end survivors, Ana Lucia, is forced to get her group inland to escape the ruthless 'others'. Meanwhile, the fuselage survivors have to deal with heavily pregnant woman, a mysterious stranger and the discovery of a hatch in the jungle.
