Translation is wrong! In the conclusion Jean Rouch says "we can't prevent asking ourselves if these african men have found a solution to avoid being "not-normal" but to be integrated in their own context, a kind of solution that we (western people) haven't discovered yet". I know my English syntax isn't perfect, but at least I gave back the meaning of the sentence!

Thanks for pointing that out. I did these subs because the only available ones were google translated. I am sorry if the occasional sentence is wrong but I did it to the best of my ability, using google translate and other versions that were around but were also wrong.
I hate to spoil your party but if you think your sentence has ANY meaning then you are mistaken. I haven't a clue what you mean by it so it has to be wrong. At least my version means something and is at least close to the original.

[ ] - The subject of the film was the Hauka movement. The Hauka movement consisted of mimicry and dancing to become possessed by French Colonial administrators. The participants performed the same elaborate military ceremonies of their colonial occupiers, but in more of a trance than true recreation.
