Uploader commentΕπιστρέφοντας από τα χαρακώματα του δευτέρου παγκοσμίου πολέμου, ο Κάιλ Μάρτιν γυρίζει στην γενέτειρα του με το παράσημο ανδρείας στο στήθος, αλλά και γεμάτος ουλές από τον καβγά στο τραίνο, προσπαθώντας να υπερασπιστεί έναν έγχρωμο βετεράνο από τους ρατσιστές συμπατριώτες του. Η φάρμα έχει ρημάξει και ο βοηθός του, ο γέρο Γκάμσου, δεν μπορεί να τον βοηθήσει σε πολλά. Χωρίς χρήματα και με πολλά χρέη στην τράπεζα, αδυνατεί να στηρίξει το αγρόκτημα. Και τότε, εμφανίζεται ένας κακοποιός, ο Τζώνι Ο, που πέφτει μεθυσμένος πάνω στον φράχτη του ένα βράδυ. Ο αγρότης θα τον περιθάλψει και εκείνος ως ανταπόδοση θα τους δώσει 1.500 δολάρια. Η διένεξη του Τζώνι με τον Φρανκ Πασίνι, θα οδηγήσει τον πρώτο στην αναζήτηση βοήθειας από κάποιον χωρίς ποινικό μητρώο, όντας ανήμπορος στο νοσοκομείο. Στον Κάιλ όμως λείπουν τα κίνητρα, για να εμπλακεί. Η μοίρα θα φροντίσει να υπάρξουν…

[ He doesn't get mad. He gets even. ] - Kyle Martin returns as a silver star hero, but realizes running a one man farm is not profitable, and the bank wants to foreclose, despite returning as a hero. Then a gambler Johnny has a car accident near his farm, in which Kyle saves his life, in which Johnny offers him 1,5000 dollars, which still isn't enough to save the farm. Then when Johnny past-post on a horse race for over $50,000, angering local mobster Passini as he and his three henchmen kills Johnny's bodyguard and then blinds Johnny's eyes with acid to "make a example out of him", Johnny asks his girl Betty to ask Kyle to kill Prassini and his men one by one for $50,000, the money he needs to save his farm, which sets the path for revenge.
