In this adventure we find Ma and 13 of her kids heading to Mournful Hollow, where Pa’s brother Sedgewick Kettle lives and who is facing financial problems running the risk of losing his farm, which also belongs to Ma and Pa. Upon her arrival, Ma needs to give it a boost to make reluctant Sedgewick tie the knot with Miss Bedelia Baines who has been his fiancée for 20 years. Meanwhile she also comes across some outsiders who rented the farm’s barn to use for some suspicious activities.
